How to become a member of the LPS?There are three types of membership in the LPS: ordinar, honoured and collective (for organizations). If you wish to become an ordinar or a collective member of the LPS you should:
- Be a scientist, a teacher, an engineer or a student working in Physics;
- Fill in the application form (AF for individual membership and AF for collective membership); you can recieve the AF from LPS secretary Zanda Gavare (Zanda.Gavare@lu.lv);
- Have one referee who is member of the LPS;
- Pay the entering fee and annual membership fee.
Now the amount of annual membership fee is 1,- LVL.
The honoured members of the LPS are elected for their essential contribution in the development of Physics in Latvia.
